Hi,

My name's Robin. It really is.

I joined The Ascham Bowmen in December 2008 after taking the beginner's course.
I've had my own recurve bow since January and enjoy shooting it with my fellow archers who are a very friendly and helpful lot.   Still got a few quirks to sort out as, for some inexplicable reason, I'm still not getting them all in the gold at 80 yards! (Or 50 for that matter).

Robin

Hi Robin,
Welcome to bow and Quiver. You are most welcome to reply to any posts in any of the forums visible to you and post some of your own, we hope. I wouldn't worry about not getting all the arrows in the Gold at 80 or even 50 yards, your in good company with many of us archers - hopefully it will come to us all in time Smile
I have also "tweaked" your account to allow you access to the Ascham Club forum site, which can only be viewd by Ascham club members (and the website Admin Wink )
You already have one other club member to that forum but hopefully you can encourage more of your fellow archers.

Welcome again enjoy your visits

The Bowman
Admin
cheers

Hi Hitman.  Sorry about the extremely late reply.  Yes, my real name is Robin but guess what they used to call me at work!  Ash says you were not feeling too well on Sunday morning (the 18th).  Too much celebrating, I guess ;-)  Do you know when the beginners' course starts?  It was supposed to be on the 11th but, so far, I've not seen a soul.
