This little guy was 11 in May - he attended a beginners course on May 5th. He is a very quiet little chap who is about 4'2" - his bow is bigger than ...

Do limb savers or doinkers reduce the limb's poundage or arrow speed?

I am not bothered by the vibration as its not that bad but im a bit worried that the bow/limbs will suffer.

Perfect holding

Hi can anyone tell me exactly what "holding" is and how to achieve "perfect holding".

I have learned I should be "getting to a point of holding before expanding through the clicker."

At the moment I find myself spending too long moving from draw to expansion and getting a tired shoulder any advice on this would also be very helpful.

Thanks.

As a raw beginner in 2007 - this was a phenomenon that confused me to say the least.

I would stand at the line - all instructions would go through my mind, I would check my stance, the way that I was breathing, draw point, etc etc.

I would nock the arrow, bring up the bow, draw - aim - loose - BANG - and the

arrow would fly over my shoulder, leaving me wondering what on earth had happened and why wasn't my arrow in the boss!!!!!

I was told "oh you've had a dry fire" - wow!!! ...
