Hi,

My name's Robin. It really is.

I joined The Ascham Bowmen in December 2008 after taking the beginner's course.
I've had my own recurve bow since January and enjoy shooting it with my fellow archers who are a very friendly and helpful lot. Still got a few quirks to sort out as, for some inexplicable reason, I'm still not getting them all in the gold at 80 yards! (Or 50 for that matter).

Hello from another new member, and a newcomer to the sport. A new member of Fox Archers in Otford, Steve has been nagging me to come register on the site (Steve, I'm guessing you are The Bowman). Anyway, I better log-out and do some work. Now I've finally found the place hopefully I can now join in the banter. May the force be with you - Ben

I wish you guys great success with this venture.

Hi,

My name is Legolas,

I am new to your site, and it appears that I am also your first participating member. I have been in archery now some 10 years and shoot various disciplines : Recurve, Compound, and Longbow. I think that Longbow is my most favourite, with Recurve next, then Compound. I am looking forward to participating in your site, although it will need a few other members

Good Luck with it, I look forward to seeing how it develops
